CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Details of a new download for GoodLink subscribers have been unveiled by Good Technology, an enterprise systems company for wireless corporate messaging and application access.

The new download will enable subscribers with a Palm Treo 600 or 650 inbox to access corporate voice mail, removing the requirement to dial in to access voice mail. Voice mail is forwarded as a WAV file, via the unified messaging system, to the corporate e-mail account of the user. This is synchronised, via GoodLink, to the Palm Treo device and an alert will be sent to the user to inform them of the message. They can then screen and download the voice mail, with options to play, forward and save the message.

In order to provide the new download Good integrated Avaya and Cisco's back-end communication systems and mVoice from MotionApps with its own Secure Over-the-Air Management technology. The messaging option can be managed remotely by administrators and will cost USD15 per seat.
