CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Sapphire R4.4 has been unveiled by LabVantage Solutions Inc (LabVantage), a provider of thin-client laboratory information management solutions (LIMS).
According to LabVantage, Sapphire R4.4 offers a number of new improvements and features, including scheduling, architectural and M18 Internationalisation improvements. It also features advanced analytical quality control functionality, a new ArchiverModule, Clustering Module, programmable business rules and improved patching capabilities.

In addition, LabVantage said Sapphire R4.4 offers LDAP capabilities, BioBanking Module, improved stability and shelf-life testing module and Evergreen Configuration Tool enhancements. The company claimed that the new version will better address the requirements of laboratories and said the solution combines a low total cost of ownership with enterprise-wide access and visibility.
Sapphire R4.4 is available immediately and LabVantage has confirmed it will carry out free virtual installations and upgrades of Sapphire, on any licensed server. No pricing information was given.
