CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Swedish telecomms solutions provider Ericsson said on Friday (2 June) that it is providing integration between its One Phone solution and Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005.

The integration would enable users to 'click to dial' from their computer desktops, using any phone connected to the corporate phone system, including mobile phones, according to the company.

The integrated One Phone solution also provides presence awareness, meaning that users can see whether people are free before they call them.

The offering will be available in autumn 2006 as part of Ericsson's One Phone and Mobility Gateway solutions.
