Telecomms company AT&T Inc (NYSE:T) has announced that ICI, a provider of coatings, adhesives, starch and synthetic polymers, has selected it to provide an enhanced level of managed security services across its global network.

ICI said that it is currently in the process of implementing AT&T's managed Web-filtering service as part of a company wide programme designed to increase levels of security across the organisation.

AT&T's Web Security service reportedly protects against any malware that users may catch from legitimate sites that have become corrupted and includes Web-filtering, virus-scanning and spyware-screening.

Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
