CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2007 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

The TPG ToolbarCustomizer has been unveiled by TPG The Project Group GmbH (TPG), a provider of Microsoft Project add-ins.

TPG said the new product allows companies to reduce menus and toolbars down to the functions needed by the user, with those functions not required being hidden away, providing a clearer layout for the user.

The ToolbarCustomizer allows elements that are not required to be removed from menus, sub-menus and toolbars in the Microsoft Project Client on an individual basis, with personalised menus saved as a view (mode). TPG confirmed that users can also create different views for different needs and switch between them, while retaining the option to restore the original view if required.

A view can be copied onto other computers with the product installation if required, allowing company administrators to assign the same settings from a central computer to each employee.
