AT&T and Wireless Advocates partner to sell AT&T wireless service through Costco

An agreement has been established between US communications holding company AT&T Inc (NYSE:T) and Wireless Advocates, a third-party provider of wireless phones and services throughout Costco warehouses, to sell AT&T wireless services via almost 370 Costco locations in the US, reaching over 35m Costco cardholders.

The companies are offering AT&T's wireless services at kiosks in each Costco store location, providing handsets such as the Samsung A437 and A517 and Motorola and Nokia models, with the Samsung BlackJack to be sold in certain stores. AT&T said its wireless service will be sold with a waived activation fee and accessory kit, incorporating a vehicle power adapter, ear bud and wireless case.

According to AT&T, the new agreement allows it to provide improved benefits and rewards and a new standard of convenience for wireless customers, delivering services to a wider group of consumers.

Costco members will be able to learn about and benefit from exclusive wireless plans and popular AT&T Features, such as its Rollover Minutes and AT&T Unity calling plans, which combine wireless and wired service.
