Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA), a provider of data integration software, announced on Thursday (4 October) that the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform is an integral part of the new technology company HP (NYSE:HPQ) Enterprise Risk Management solution, a business intelligence solution for financial services organizations.

Informatica was reportedly the first data integration vendor to pass certification on HP Neoview and supplies key technology for HP Oneview, a customer-centric data warehouse solution for telecomms companies.

According to the company, PowerCenter captures, consolidates and delivers high volumes of data across enterprise sources, at the same time improving and monitoring its accuracy, consistency and reliability. This enables customers to utilise a single risk intelligence platform enterprise-wide, with integrated data quality controls and audit capabilities, to successfully address Basel II, Sarbanes-Oxley, Anti-Money Laundering and other requirements.

The HP Enterprise Risk Management solution is pre-integrated with HP Neoview, Informatica PowerCenter, MicroStrategies' analytical dashboard and Quadrant's data model so that customers benefit from faster implementation, reduced integration issues and a single source of support, the company said.

No financial or pricing details were disclosed.
