Aeroflex Incorporated, a global provider of high technology solutions to the aerospace, defence, cellular and broadband communications markets, has entered into a multiyear contract worth over USD10m with a supplier of cellular mobile phones and communications devices.
Aeroflex said the contract positions the company as a significant supplier of manufacturing test solutions for mobile handsets around the world.
The company claimed its RF PXI products have helped its customer realise a substantial reduction in manufacturing test time. It confirmed it is providing a flexible platform to meet the varied test demands for current cellular and emerging broadband wireless systems.

According to Aeroflex, customer deliveries have started, with the first product lines using its equipment already operational.
