Denali Software licenses NAND Flash System solution to AMD

CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Denali Software Inc, a provider of electronic design automation (EDA) software and intellectual property (IP), announced on Wednesday (2 January) that the company has licensed its NAND Flash solution to AMD (NYSE: AMD), a provider of innovative processing solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, AMD is licensing Denali Databahn NAND Flash controller and Spectra flash file system for inclusion in its next-generation processors for handheld devices.

Denali has agreed to license to AMD its Databahn NAND Flash controller core technology, including hardware and source code, as well as test and simulation support.

Financial details of the licensing agreement were available.
