CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
Wayne State University's Physician Group (WSUPG) has selected a solution from athenahealth Inc (Nasdaq:ATHN), a provider of Internet-based business services to physician practices.
The group has selected athenahealth's centrally-hosted, on-demand practice management and billing service, athenaCollector SM.
athenahealth has, as part of its software-enabled service (SeS), athenaCollector, built in a proprietary knowledge-base of payer reimbursement process rules, athenaRules SM, which is designed to enforce medical provider office workflow requirements and is continually updated with payer-specific coding and documentation information by athenahealth staff.
