Network services for Taylor Morrison combined by AT&T

CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

A three-year contract valued at USD1.6m has been announced between communications company AT&T Inc (NYSE: T) and home builder Taylor Morrison Inc.

Under the terms of the contract network services will be expanded by AT&T to Taylor Morrison's corporate and regional offices across Florida and the US.

Taylor Morrison is being provided with Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)-enabled network services, AT&T's Internet Protocol (IP)-based Virtual Private Network (VPN) Remote Access Service and Managed Internet Service, under the terms of the agreement.

AT&T's VPN solution will be used by Taylor Morrison to include company sites on AT&T's MPLS-enabled network. The solution will enable communication among Taylor Morrison's locations without funneling traffic through a central hub.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
