Mobile One (M1), a mobile and wireless broadband operator in Singapore, has selected Huawei Technologies Co Ltd (Huawei), provider of next-generation telecomms networks, to deploy its ALL IP GSM, 3G, HSPA and LTE systems, over the next five years.

M1 chose Huawei to support the future expansion and upgrade of its 3G and HSPA network, including the CORE and UTRAN whole network spans. Huawei said it will implement an end-to-end ALL IP network under the contract terms, to meet M1's future needs.

M1 claimed Huawei's capabilities will support and complement its work to plan ahead to deliver mobile and other services to meet the future requirements of its customers.

According to Huawei, its 4th Generation multi-platform ALL IP solution and advanced Packet Core solution will provide high speeds and improved quality of experience to M1 customers, enhancing the operator's competitive advantage.
