Corporate IT Update,  May 7, 2008

CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

P&O Ferries, a UK-based European ferry operator, has selected customer insight software from Speed-Trap, an e-business technology and solutions provider, to monitor and dynamically manage the content of its website - http://www.poferries.com.

According to the company, the software will use Web 2.0 technology to gather real-time data about the web site experience for each online customer and prospect, as opposed to presenting the technical and marketing teams with historical, general and demographic information.

The technology is reportedly deployed with one change, circumventing the need to manually tag every page and link. This enables P&O Ferries to monitor all of its customers' interactions with the site, regardless of how the site may evolve in the future, and allows the company to fully monitor the behaviour of online customers.

No financial details were disclosed.
