Axios Systems announces contract win with UK police force

CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2009 M2 COMMUNICATIONS

Axios Systems, a specialist provider of IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions, announced today a contract win with South Yorkshire Police (SYP), one of the 44 regional police forces in the UK.

The company said that the deal will see SYP deploying Axios' Assyst ITSM solution to help them manage some 5000 assets to increase the availability of its services and to help it conform to current ITIL practices as mandated by the National Policing Improvements Agency.

No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
