CORPORATE IT UPDATE-(C)1995-2009 M2 COMMUNICATIONS
Amdocs (NYSE:DOX), a producer of customer relationship management software, announced on Monday that it has signed a contract with Elisa Corporation (Hel:ELISA A) to manage the company's billing, ordering and customer relationship management software.
The software was originally deployed by Amdoc for Elisa in 2007 to support Elisa's wireless operation. Amdocs will now consolidate all Elisa's eight legacy wireless, wireline, Internet and cable billing systems into a single system for the Finnish telecoms operator. The contract also requires Amdocs to assume responsibility for the day-to-day management and maintenance of the systems.
