City of Bethlehem awards video surveillance contract to Intelligent Decisions

Intelligent Decisions Inc (ID), a systems integrator providing IT hardware and software, manufacturing and professional service solutions, has announced that it was awarded a video surveillance contract by the city of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA, through its Pennsylvania Department of General Services CoStars 3-IT Hardware contract.

The city of Bethlehem required an end-to-end video surveillance solution to help secure its critical infrastructure and protect its citizens and businesses. To provide the solution, ID partnered with Let's Think Wireless (LTW), a specialist in the design and integration of wireless networks and applications.

According to the company, the award included the purchase and installation of 19 additional wireless video surveillance cameras to be added to the city's previously installed surveillance infrastructure of six cameras. The equipment will be installed in essential locations downtown in the Main and Broad Street corridor as well as around the 3rd and 4th Street vicinity in the 5 points area over the next four weeks.
