Databarracks, a provider of secure on-line backup services, announced on Monday (2 March) that it is expanding its high availability and DR infrastructure based on unified storage solutions provider NetApp storage.

The company said that as a result, it is able to improve its service to clients and enable more customers to take advantage of reliable, high-performance NetApp storage. NetApp provides the storage backbone for the company's service offerings, which range from managed on-line back-up through to hosted SAN replication and disaster recovery, in both physical and virtual environments.

Since installation of NetApp storage infrastructure over a year ago, the company has enjoyed zero downtime across all of its systems. The Databarracks NetApp infrastructure now comprises approximately 350TB of disk storage, the company said.

No financial details were disclosed.
