CNBC WINKS

CNBC extended its original multi-year relationship with Wink Communications to provide on-demand interactive enhancements for both programming and advertisements on the cable network. With Wink, viewers can watch CNBC Business News live while simultaneously accessing on-demand financial information and stock quotes. They also are able to purchase merchandise or request information through the interactive advertisements.

PLAYBOY GAMES

Playboy.com and ACTV joined forces to collaborate on digital media initiatives for Playboy's Internet site. Collaboration on future interactive television initiatives also is included in the partnership. Playboy and ACTV will develop advanced interactive and digital content that creates new revenue opportunities for Playboy.com, while also significantly expanding the appeal of the Web site for users, the companies say.

OPENTV PREZ

OpenTV named Martin Leamy president/COO, succeeding James Ackerman, who was appointed CEO. Leamy was EVP of OpenTV's professional services group. Prior to OpenTV, Leamy was president/ COO of Spyglass, which merged with OpenTV in July 2000.
