Cable World, Dec 5, 2005
Comcast began reporting its weekly top VOD programs in Boston after the week ending Nov. 6, and the similarities with its flagship Philadelphia market from that week were striking. The rankings of seven of the top 10 movies were identical, and the popularity of the No. 1 movie in both markets, The Longest Yard, demonstrated the power of new releases in the VOD/PPV window. The following movie-on-demand titles were compiled by Rentrak and reported by Comcast based on cumulative VOD orders by its digital cable subscribers in the Philadelphia and Boston markets. --Shirley Brady
