Discovery Digital Head Leaves

Cable World, Sept 3, 2001

Discovery Digital SVP-GM Charley Humbert announced last week that he was leaving the network after eight years to start a company involved--according to a Discovery spokesperson--in "combining interactive video gaming with traditional media." Humbert had been head of the digital networks since 1998.

A replacement has not been named, and a senior team of three executives will oversee the networks in the interim.
