If Kabuki makeup, flashpots and loud music (not to mention long tongues) make you want to "Rock and Roll All Night," then Showtime Event Television hopes you'll pucker up and indulge in The Last Kiss.
Yes, Messrs. Peter Criss, Ace Frehley, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, otherwise known as KISS, will bring their special brand of rock `n roll pyrotechnics to the pay-per-view arena Saturday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. Carrying a suggested retail of $19.95, the 90-minute show, which was filmed last spring at the group's homecoming concert in New Jersey's Continental Arena, will be carried by InDemand, Echostar and DirecTV.

In addition to cross channel and other marketing support from SET, The Last Kiss will benefit from promotional efforts by VH1.
The music channel will run spots touting the event 10 days out, and present interstitials and other KISS-related programming during VH1 News. Digital spin-off VH1 Classic will also perform some stunting around the event, while marketing muscle will also be drummed up on VH1.com.
KISS, which has sold 75 million albums over its 27-year career on the strength of such hits as "Love Gun," "Beth," "Shout It Out Loud" and "Strutter," is wrapping up its farewell concert tour, which is the fourth-highest grossing musical calvalcade in history.
