'Taken' A Chance At Sci Fi

Cable World, Nov 4, 2002

Byline: JONATHAN BLUM, KAGAN

Running 20 hours, Taken will be one of the largest miniseries ever and could be a great move for Sci Fi. Its cash flow margin is 16% higher than the 2001 industry average, and its programming to total net revenue percentage is 12% lower than the mean for the same period. If early reports are any indication, Taken should do well in its cable release and create a legitimate DVD and VHS window.
