WILL HISTORY REPEAT 'KILLING PABLO' RESULT?

With the U.S. having trouble finding Osama bin Laden and about to hunt down Saddam Hussein, the story of how the government helped kill one of the world's most dangerous criminals, the drug lord Pablo Escobar, is very timely. The two-hour documentary, The True Story of Killing Pablo, premieres March 24 on History Channel. It tells how the U.S. helped Colombia bring down a powerful man who bought and sold police, murdered judges, kidnapped vice presidents and built his own jail thanks to the millions brought in through his cocaine ring. One downside: a Colombian death squad that executed hundreds and may have been supported by American troops. This is a serious but welcome diversion while awaiting a decision on whether or when to go to war.

WE OFFERS SHOPPING THERAPY ON 'FRONTAL'

On a lighter note, WE: Women's Entertainment offers Full Frontal Fashion for those who think the antidote to tension in the Middle East is shopping. The show is being previewed this month and will become a regular weekly series in April. Hosted by potato-chip-commercial star Ali Landry, Full Frontal Fashion visits a lingerie shop with Susan Lucci, features interviews with designers and offers low-cost ways to duplicate high-end fashion. It could be just the thing for soccer moms who want to look like chic moms.
