Belgian retailer Delhaize "Le Lion" reported an increase in turnover both at home and abroad last year. Group sales rose by 10.9% to ??14.3bn, with the strongest growth coming from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where combined sales at the Delvita subsidiary in those two countries rose 43% to ??341m.
