Han-Werner Pfingstmann has taken over as managing director of Nestle meat products subsidiary Herta, replacing Karl Heinz Kiesel, who has moved to Sudfleisch. Pfingstmann, who was formerly head of Herta France in Paris, will also oversee the company's European expansion strategy. In addition, Stephan de Loecker is to become head of German milk division Milchfrischproducke in Frankfurt, effective 1 November.

He will take over from Christoph Overlack, who is moving to Brussels to join Nestle's chilled logistics centre.
