Belgian food retailer Delhaize - promotes Rick Anicetti, Ron Hodge at Delhaize America - Brief Article

Belgian food retailer Delhaize, which has considerable activities in the US, has promoted two senior executives at two Delhaize America units. Rick Anicetti has been named president of Food Lion. Previously, Anicetti was chief operating officer of Food Lion, and has also held the same post at Food Lion's sister company Hannaford Bros.

Also at Delhaize, Ron Hodge, currently president of Hannaford, has assumed the additional role of chief executive officer. Hugh Farrington, previously chief executive officer of Hannaford, will continue in his capacity as vice chairman Delhaize America. Bill McCanless will continue in his role as chief executive officer of Delhaize America and Food Lion.
