Low-carb. by Robert C. Atkins,M.D
Entrepreneur, Dec, 2003 by Devlin Smith
Sparked by the late 1990s rerelease of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (Avon Books) by Robert C. Atkins, M.D., low-carb diets are still a major topic of interest online, in print and nearly everywhere else. Restaurants, grocery stores and food manufacturers are altering menus, adding products of dedicating entire lines to the carb-wary. The interest in low carb items has also been a boost for many classic products; Hunn's Private Stock Pickles, for example, are gaining popularity as people seek crunchy snacks minus the carbs.
