Oh, say scan you see - New Products & Services - Kodak 2400DSV and 3000DSV digital scanner-printers - Brief Article

Health Management Technology, Oct, 2002

Eastman Kodak's Document Imaging Division has announced the introduction of the 2400DSV and 3000DSV digital scanner-printers with extended film scanning capabilities. Equipped with Kodak's PowerFilm application software, the scanner-printers utilize updated digital solutions. The 2400DSV model offers dual output option at the touch of a button. Equipped with a 12-inch by 12-inch display screen, scanned images are sent directly to the unit's high-speed (20ppm) video laser printer or through a SCSI (PC) interface. The 3000DSV model contains the same technology as the 2400, but is able to handle larger workloads faster. Equipped with an 11-inch by 17-inch display screen, the 3000 is ideal for viewing large-format conversions. The systems both utilize interchangeable film carriers that allow users to scan traditional 16mm film, as well as other formats, including microfiche, jackets, 35mm roll film and aperture cards.
