Central Suffolk Hospital of Riverhead, N.Y., has purchased an image capture and information management systems from Eastman Kodak Co.'s Health Imaging Group. The 214-bed hospital will use KODAK DIRECTVIEW PACS System 5 for the storage and management of digital patient images and related information, KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR 500 and CR 950 Computed Radiography Systems for digital capture of X-ray images, and a KODAK DRYVIEW 8900 Laser Imaging System to print digital imaging studies to radiographic film.

The department performs more than 50,000 radiographic imaging studies a year.
