Browser-Based Patient Education Software

A new software package, Patient Education Suite, makes healthcare information easily accessible to patients and their communities via the Internet where they can learn about common medical diagnoses, treatments, and care. Patients access the information using a password given by an affiliated care provider; this information is accessible from anywhere in the world where Internet access is available. In addition to information on a specific set of diagnoses, the browser-based format also allows organizations to provide their communities with access to links outside of the Patient Education software. Speedier Healthcare Communication

Speedier authorization for medical treatment and physician referrals is possible with a new Internet software product called iEXCHANGE. Up to 90 percent of referral requests can be automatically and immediately authorized using Internet technology.
