Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedDuplicate records reconciliation
Health Management Technology, Dec, 2004
Accessible via any Web browser, N-Mend is an ASP application that automates the process of correcting errors in electronic health records via a secure, encrypted, password-protected connection. During the data analysis phase of an MPI cleanup, it leverages learning algorithms to identify, validate and reconcile duplicate patient records, displaying complete patient demographic data for each candidate record to enable correct selection of the surviving record. By distributing records from a single pool to multiple data-analysis personnel on an as-needed or quota basis, N-Mend ensures that a record review team spends all of its time reviewing duplicate records, minimizing time spent for record-keeping and drawing the next task.
