Alegent Health is expanding critical care services to its rural regional hospitals. A USDA Rural Development Grant was awarded to Alegent Health eICU personnel and rural hospital administrators to enable regional community hospitals to access critical care specialists at the Alegent Health eICU Center.

Physicians and critical care nurses at the new eICU hub, which has been in use at Community Memorial Hospital for nearly a month, can now assist bedside caregivers in the diagnosis, treatment and management of trauma and critically ill patients.
