RIS Logic Inc. has added scheduling and automated billing enhancements to its RIS Logic technology in a version 4.0. This new version provides electronic claims processing that allows users to automate the entire claims and billing process. Users can edit claims, verify procedures and ensure that diagnosis codes are valid and compatible with the payors membership and provider files, prior to printing or electronic submission of a claim. Claims found to be in error or missing information are returned to the provider for correction. Once validated, the claims are transmitted to the payor's system for automated adjudication. The system also includes several scheduling enhancements that offer increased flexibility.
