Hear voices - Brief Article

Health Management Technology, Feb, 2002

SoftMed Systems has introduced VoiceScript, a dictation and voice management system. The system supports both analog and network dictation modes. It enables the retrieval of voice files from network-connected dictation stations. Using standard analog technology, VoiceScript integrates with traditional devices, such as the telephone, compatible portable devices and voice files imported from other systems. Clinicians can access voice fields over the phone via a voice server for listening to documents pending transcription. Transcriptionists also have multiple modes of access. This technology supports an all-in-one solution that allows dictation to be received via a mobile tablet PC, or other PCs with appropriate network connectivity.
