In the HMT April issue Clinical Computing article, Dr. Richard O'Brien, of Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, PA, in his comments on Lernout and Haupie's Voice Xpress for Medicine product, said, "It's as useful to me as my prescription pad or my stethoscope."

Dr. O'Brien is the President Elect of the Pennsylvania Chapter, American College of Emergency Physicians, which is sponsoring the Emergency Department Information Systems Symposium December 5-8, 1999, at the MGM Grand Hotel, in Las Vegas, Nev. This is the only conference designed to give Emergency Department Staff the information they need to know in order to purchase information systems for their department.
