POC patient management - New Products & Services - MDeverywhere 7.0 - Brief Article

Health Management Technology, April, 2003

MDeverywhere version 7.0 features improved solutions that adapt to different healthcare environments by further customizing the way physicians and administrators are able to manage information to fit individual needs, preferences and situations. Diagnosis searching, care team management, reference information and reporting have been enhanced and added to the components of MDeverywhere's integrated encounter capture platform: EveryCharge (charge capture), EveryReference (reference tools) and EveryNote (integrated dictation). It allows access to multiple patient lists on a single handheld device, and common lists of patients can be shared across multiple care team providers for encounter charge capture, providing value to resident/attending workflow, inpatient rounding list coverage, and care team management in outpatient and inpatient settings. Transaction suspend capabilities allow administrators to automatically place a hold on encounters that need to be reviewed for complexity or compliance concerns. Additional reporting functions provide summaries to aid in organizational planning and tracking. Other features include diagnosis frequency, monthly and weekly aging, and inpatient charge tracking reports. MDeverywhere, Durham, NC
