New series of ink-jet printers

New AS series of address printing systems use high-speed ink jet printing to print addresses and barcodes directly onto envelopes and mail pieces. The fully automated printers produce up to 600 x 600 dots-per-inch printed images, Through the use of true type fonts, AS printers can produce custom messages that can be de signed to appear handwritten. The series produces at a rate of up to 26,000 #10 envelopes per hour and handles jobs ranging from postcards to mail pieces measuring up to 14 inches by 14 inches. Neopost Inc., Hayward, Calif.
