Enhancements to the Practice Resource System, a network of integrated systems and services that addresses a medical practice's clinical, financial and administrative Workflow, include EMR features AutoNote and AutoCalc. AutoNote allows complete medical record documentation of patient encounters. Using customizable templates and point-and-click technology, clinicians can document vitals, review patient histories and order medications, labs and procedures, as well as build detailed written notes via the SOAP note format. AutoCalc performs routine calculations such as body mass index, ideal body weight and automatic metric conversions, and it includes an E&M calculator to determine the correct level of service based on documentation. The system is compatible with the latest wireless technologies, including Microsoft-based Pocket PC and tablet devices, and is available through ASP/Internet or client/server deployments.
