The RPM 3000 router/performance monitor with integral CSUs/DSUs is a multifunctional branch-office router that combines remote access routing and frame relay trend analysis monitoring. While efficiently routing data, the unit simultaneously captures detailed frame relay network statistics. The unit can be configured with an ISDN module as backup for a frame relay or leased line connection. It provides an easy upgrade from DDS to T1 using modular NICs. For remote office access, the RPM provides real-time measurement of throughput, bandwidth utilization, bursting, congestion and network delay. Detailed reports are available instantly via direct terminal, Telnet access, WANwatcher or third-party systems.
