Moraine Valley Community College (Ill.) has received two grants--a $124,172 Education-to-Careers grant and a $2,000 Walmart Foundation Literacy grant--to help with two college programs. The $124,172 grant from the Illinois Board of Education will provide another year of funding for the college's Education-to-careers program as well as funding for the college's centralized internship office.
The Walmart Foundation grant will provide additional instructional materials and supplies to the college's Community Literacy program.
