> Auburn University (Ala.), The Ohio State University, the University of Florida, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University together received a $754,983 four-year grant from the National Science Foundation to fund the Scholar of the Future program. The program, which will be administered at Auburn University and replicated at Virginia Tech, designed to increase the number of underrepresented graduate students and faculty in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science and other information technology disciplines.
