DR. WILLIE PEARSON JR. has been appointed chair of the School of History, Technology and Society at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously, Pearson was a professor of sociology and an adjunct professor at Wake Forest's School of Medicine. Pearson earned a bachelor's from Wiley College, a master's from Atlanta University and a doctorate from Southern Illinois.
