Winston-Salem State University (N.C.) has received a $330,000 gift from the Forsyth Medical Center Foundation. The gift will be used to endow a chair in the university's School of Health Sciences. In addition, the School of Education received $161,000 from the U.S. Department of Education to renew a project involving using technology in the classroom.
