DR. WILLIE L. HILL JR., has been elected president of MENC: the National Association for Music Education. Hill is director of the Fine Arts Center and a professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Hill earned a bachelor's from Grambling State University and master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
