Delaware State University, along with three other major Delaware institutions of higher education and a health-care provider, have been awarded a $16.7 million grant from the Delaware idea Network of Biomedical Research Excellence to bolster its research infrastructure in the areas of biomedical sciences, biotechnology, and bioinformatics.
The consortium of institutions include Wesley College, University of Delaware, Delaware Technical and Community College and Christiana Care Health Services. All institutions will receive a portion of the five-year grant from the National Institutes of Health.
