DR. ARNOLD BURGER, a physics professor at Fisk University, was honored recently for the development of a new crystal growth process for producing gamma-ray detectors by a panel of science and technology experts for Research and Development magazine. Burger earned a bachelor's, master's and doctorate from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
