DR. LISA P. DELPIT has been named executive director and eminent scholar in the Center for Urban Education and Innovation in the College of Education at Florida International University. Prior to this appointment, Delpit held the Benjamin E. Mays chair of urban educational leadership at Georgia State.
Delpit earned a bachelor's from Antioch College, and a master's and doctorate from Harvard University.
