DR. O. DARRYL BUTLER is the new vice president of student affairs at South Carolina State University. Butler comes to the university from New Jersey City University where he was director of auxiliary services. He earned a bachelor's degree from East Tennessee State University, a master's degree and a doctorate in higher education research and policy, both from Seton Hall University.
