Howard University (Washington, D.C.) Graduate School has been selected as one of the Council of Graduate Schools' (CGS) 21 Research University Partners to participate in a $2.6 million, three-year Ph.D. Completion Project. The project is supported by grants from Pfizer Inc. and the Ford Foundation.
Each Research University Partner will receive awards of up to $100,000 to collect and submit data on doctoral completion; to create and pilot intervention strategies; and to evaluate the effect of these strategies on Ph.D. attrition patterns and completion rates.
