DR. JENNIFER KEANE-DAWES has been appointed director of graduate studies at Norfolk State University. Previously, she taught in the department of language, literature and communications at Elizabeth City State University. Keane-Dawes earned a bachelor's from the University of the West Indies and a master's and doctorate from Howard University.
